I have stayed away from component speakers for many years because of my ignorance I suppose and laziness in regards to splitters. I bought these to replace my front door speakers in my dual cab toyota hilux which were not original kenwoods 3 ways and had blown one of the speakers. I have never been happy with the sound of my current setup but thought that I would give these a go main reason being that there is no separate splitters to install. Install was a breeze and the tweeters come with flush mount and surface mounts.
What a difference these speakers have made, I can actually here the lyrics clear with these and they are able to handle way more bass then my old kenwoods. I also have a polk audio sub I am going to install when I have a chance to make a box up for it but at the moment I am very happy with the sound coming from these components and I dont need to hurry to install my sub. For the price I purchased these I cannot fault them and am amazed at the quality of the sound. I am kicking myself that it has taken me 23 years of driving cars to install component speakers.
