best setting for me is the EQ set at User setting, bass boost on level 3 on and loudness level set at 2 settings bass at 8 and mid at 4 and treble at 7
The Fm tuner could pull in distant stations better but I consider it fair to good, picks the local stations up strong
caution like so many receivers of this type it shows a lot of glare on bright days on the front screen due too its curve design its hard to see the text
